By using ci-balanced.com, its tools or the Ci-Balanced app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. What we provide

Free online tools to create invoices, receipts, quotations and proformas, design company stamps and apply them to PDFs, calculate tax amounts, and track budgets and business records. Free features may have daily limits. Paid features (Pro) are described on the site when offered.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the documents you create — their accuracy, their wording and how you use them.
• You must have the right to use any business name, logo, stamp or signature you add.
• You must comply with the tax laws that apply to you. In particular, if you are required to issue invoices or receipts through a mandatory e-invoicing or fiscal system, documents made with our tools do not replace the tax invoices or receipts from that system.

3. Company stamps — acceptable use

You may only create or apply a stamp for a company or organisation you are authorised to act for. You must not use the tools to:

• imitate the stamp, seal or name of a government body, court, regulator, police, bank or any organisation you don’t represent;
• create, alter or pass off documents as genuine when they are not, or in any way that amounts to forgery or fraud;
• mislead anyone about who issued or approved a document.

We block certain protected names automatically and may restrict access where we believe these terms are being broken.

4. Information is general, not advice

Calculators and guides are provided for general information. Tax rates, thresholds and rules change; we try to keep pages current but can’t guarantee every figure is up to date. Confirm anything important with your tax authority or a qualified professional.

5. Availability and changes

We provide the tools “as is” and may change, suspend or discontinue features. Because the document tools run on your device and we don’t keep copies, please keep your own copies of anything important.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ci-Balanced is not liable for any loss arising from use of the tools, including errors in documents or calculations, rejected documents, or penalties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

7. Accounts and Pro

If you create an app account, keep your sign-in secure and tell us about any unauthorised use. Subscriptions, when offered, renew until cancelled; cancelling stops future charges and you keep Pro until the end of the period paid for.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
